Welcome
|
Welcome to the home of Team Roten Rennwagen (TRR). TRR (German for "Red Racing Car") is a team of dedicated motor racing enthusiasts competing in Targa Tasmania - The ultimate tarmac rally.
TRR has completed two very successful Targas. The brilliant team of James Powell-Davies (Driver) and Nick McShane (Navigator) has so far:
- Scooped the pool in Targa 2005 - winning the Touring Classic Competition outright, plus winning their category and class, gaining a coveted Targa Trophy and, to cap it all off, was the fastest Touring Classic car in the Prologue.
- Acquitted themselves well in Targa 2006, coming third overall in the Classic Sprint Competition, repeating the feat of winning their category and class and gaining a second "Targa Trophy" for completing all stages within Targa times.
This is (with all modesty) an impressive result from the team in just two competitive motorsport outings. The team is back in 2007 again vying for podium honours - this time in a new competition - the expanded Classic competition. Importantly, the team is competing for a coveted "Gold Targa Trophy", which is awarded to teams that achieve Targa Trophies in three consecutive years.
